There are many things that come together to make Pumpkin Moon special – being out in the fields, having lots of my family and friends working here for a few weeks together and providing a fun day out that is free to go to. Plus a really big ‘Thank You’ to the local community who have been so positive and supportive.

It is also important to us that we are sponsoring two well deserving charities – The British Heart Foundation and Heart of Kent Hospice. In 2016 £2,500 was donated to them from the proceeds of our pumpkin picking event.

The people who are working with us this year are brilliant from The Splendid Coffee Company who will be turning up to Pumpkin Moon in their gorgeous vintage van to serve you delicious drinks and a selection of cakes. They are a family run business based in Kent and not only choose the perfect ingredients but also care about the environment and will be using compostable cups and lids.

The Med Kitchen is all about great food, passionate people and relaxed service with a smile. The food is fresh, using locally sourced ingredients and cooked with care in front of you.

If you like the great photography that Charlene Clarke from Rainham has taken for our website and Facebook page than find out more about her.

Thank you Jorg from PPS-Design for some nice pictures on the website and lots of pictures of pumpkin varieties.

This year we have Arty Party Entertainment to join us for professional face painting, pumpkin painting and special FX Gore makeup.

Story Sock are joining us for Halloween stories and arts and crafts, but if you are interested in finding out about the Story Sock classes or parties then have a look at their website it looks so good.

Lighting Up Allington will have their annual spooky Halloween light and music display from 28th – 31st October. We will again be supplying them with pumpkin as they support the Heart of Kent Hospice too.

The Kent Wildlfe Trust will be here at Pumpkin Moon to talk to anyone who is interested about their work with wildlife, habitats and conservation. They are based over the road at Tyland Barn.
